Why are handstands so hard?
Handstands draw upon a diversity of skills and strengths to master. Full body strength, flexibility to facilitate coordinated efficient movement for moving in and out of handstand postures, as well as the very difficult proprioceptive skill of balancing on your hands while upside down.
And, a handstand a day, really can keep the the doctor away. Handstands are great for bone density, shoulder, wrist and arm strength. Handstands build core strength and improve balance while giving you the benefits of increased circulation and lymph flow.
But the real reason everyone is handstand mad is because they are fun!
