Description

This course is focused on teaching participants the foundations of yoga, such as correct alignment, functional movement, and yogic breathing. Which apply to most styles of yoga. The aim of the course is to guide you to cultivate a sustainable yoga self practice, or prepare you to attend any class on our timetable.

We have been offering this course at Yogahub since 2015 and have help thousands of West Australians take up the practice of yoga. Our instructors are passionate about teaching yoga to beginners. They are highly trained to deliver clear information and helpful insights making yoga enjoyable and accessible to all students in an atmosphere that is friendly and inclusive.

Why choose a Beginners Course over a general class?

Especially if you are new to yoga a beginners course has many advantages over simply turning up to an open level class.  In our signature courses each class builds on the skills learnt in the previous class. Each class we revisit foundational concepts, encourage questions and review information. Structuring the course progressively allows us to build the intensity up of the class slowly – so it’s manageable and you can enjoy yourself.

In a general class there might not be enough opportunity to ask questions. However, because everybody in the course is a beginner, the group dynamic very accepting and comfortable.

While no previous experience of yoga is necessary. The course is designed for a person of average physical ability and generally good health.

This course will be suitable for someone who can

  • Get up and down from sitting on the floor
  • Hold a plank for 30 sec.
  • Squat down to pick up a 10kg box.
  • Bend down to re-tie a shoe and balance on one leg.

Yogahub is fully equiped dedicated yoga space. We have everything you need. Simply be sure to wear soft clothes you can easily move in.
